A Valentine for that Very Special Remote Controlled Killing Machine in your Life

Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Me sitting here on the ground,
You in mid-air.
Send in the drones.

Isn't it bliss?
Don't you approve?
One who keeps tearing around,
One who can't move.
Where are the drones?
Send in the drones.

Just when I'd stopped
Kicking down doors,
Finally knowing
The raid that I wanted was yours,
Making my entrance again
With my usual hellfire,
Sure of my aim,
With casualties dire.

Don't you love force?
My fault, I fear.
I thought that you'd fragged who I wanted -
Sorry, my dear.
But where are the drones?
There ought to be drones.
Quick, send in the drones.

What a surprise.
Who could foresee
I'd come to feel about you
What you'd felt about me?
Why only now when i see
That you'd drifted away?
What a surprise.
What a cliché.

Isn't it shock?
Isn't it awe?
Losing my manned flights this late
In this damned war?
And where are the drones?
A thousand more drones.
Well Maybe next year....
